Garage door repair SydneyWhatever broke, one call fixes it.
Springs, motors, cables, panels, tracks and off-track doors repaired across Sydney, most jobs the same day. Every major brand and door type, a written fixed price before work starts and a 1-Year Labour Warranty.
Tell us what is wrong
Fixing Sydney’s garage doors since 2009.
A broken garage door rarely picks a good moment. It locks the car in, leaves the house exposed and turns a normal morning into a problem. That’s the moment we’re built for. One call, a technician who knows doors, and a written fixed price before any work begins.
We repair the whole door, not just one part of it. Snapped torsion springs, burnt-out openers, frayed cables, twisted tracks, dented panels, worn rollers and safety sensors that won’t let the door close. Our vans carry the common parts for B&D, Merlin, Gliderol, Steel-Line, ATA, DoorWorks, Centurion and Chamberlain doors, so most repairs are finished on the first visit.
Every door is a system. When one part fails, it puts extra load on the others, so we check the springs, cables, drums, tracks, rollers, opener and sensors on every job. If something else is close to failing, we tell you and quote it separately. Nothing extra is done without your OK.
“Same family on the phone. Same family on the job.”
Six places a garage door fails.
Almost every repair call we take traces back to one of these six points. Knowing which one has gone tells you how urgent it is and whether the door is still safe to use.
The same family, on every job since 2009.
No call centres, no subcontractors and no hourly creep. These are the standards we hold on every repair, whatever the door.
What’s wrong with your door?
Most faults fall into one of these eight categories. Match your symptoms, then call. We’ll talk it through on the phone and give you a written fixed price on site before any work starts.
Snapped torsion spring
A loud bang from the garage, then a door that feels extremely heavy or won’t lift at all. The most common urgent repair we see. Don’t try to lift it.
URGENTMotor or opener not working
The motor hums but the door doesn’t move, or the unit has gone completely silent. Often seen after years of daily use, a power issue or a stripped gear.
COMMONFrayed or snapped cables
The door hangs crooked, scrapes the floor or one side drops faster than the other. Cables run at full spring tension, so this is never a DIY job.
URGENTDoor off its track
The door has visibly left the rail, won’t close evenly or has jammed halfway. Usually a bent track, a broken roller or a knock from the car.
COMMONCracked or dented panel
Damage from a bump, wear or weather. In many cases a single panel can be swapped without replacing the whole door.
MODERATEBent or misaligned tracks
Grinding, jerky movement or a door that sticks at the same point every time. The tracks need realigning, straightening or replacing.
COMMONWorn rollers, hinges or bearings
The screech you can hear from inside the house. Usually a straightforward fix with new nylon rollers and properly lubricated bearings.
MINORRemote, keypad or sensor faults
The remote does nothing, the sensor light is stuck or the keypad has gone dead. Often a reprogram or a sensor realignment on site.
MINORFrom your call to a working door, usually the same day.
Every repair follows the same four steps: a real conversation on the phone, a stocked van, a written fixed price on site and a door that is tested before we leave.
You call, a technician answers
No call centre and no booking maze. Tell us what the door is doing and we’ll ask the right questions, give you the likely cause and tell you how to keep it safe until we arrive.
Stocked van on the way
Our vans carry springs, cables, rollers, sensors and common opener parts, so the right fix usually happens on the first visit instead of a second trip.
Diagnose, then a fixed price
We test the door, opener, springs, cables, tracks and sensors, explain what’s wrong and give you a written fixed price before any tool comes out.
Repaired and tested
The repair is done, the door is cycled several times to confirm it runs properly, and old parts are shown to you. Backed by a 1-Year Labour Warranty.
A cheap repair quote and a fair one aren’t the same job.

Fixed. In writing.
Every repair is different, so we price it on site once we’ve seen the door. You get a written fixed price before any work starts, and there’s no obligation to go ahead.
The doors we repair.
Panels that roll up and back along tracks on torsion springs. The most common door on modern Sydney homes, and the one in our fault map.
A curtain that coils around an axle above the opening. Common on older homes and tight garages. Stiff, noisy or jammed curtains fixed.
A single panel that swings up and out on springs or counterweights. Spring, cable, pivot and track repairs on older tilt doors.
Shared car park doors and small business doors. Heavier use, so we focus on parts that stand up to more cycles.

How quickly can you come out to fix my garage door?

How do your quotes work?
We look at the door on site, explain what’s wrong and give you a written fixed price before any work starts. If you don’t want to go ahead, there’s no obligation. No hourly creep and no extras added without your OK.
How much does a typical garage door repair cost?
It depends on what has actually failed. A snapped spring, a burnt-out motor and a frayed cable are very different jobs. What doesn’t change is how we price it: a fixed price in writing before any tool comes out.
What brands and door types do you service?
B&D, Merlin, Gliderol, Steel-Line, ATA, DoorWorks, Centurion and Chamberlain, across sectional, roller and tilt doors. Homes, strata and small commercial sites are all covered. If you’re unsure about your door, send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Every repair comes with our 1-Year Labour Warranty in writing. Replacement parts are also covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and we hand you the paperwork when the job is done.
Is it safe to keep using my door while it’s faulty?
Not if a spring has snapped, a cable is loose or the door is hanging crooked or off its track. Stop using it, keep people and cars clear and call us. A noisy door that still runs evenly is usually safe to use until we arrive.
What if my door is too far gone to repair?
If it’s beyond economic repair, we’ll tell you straight, with no upsell scripts and no pressure. You’ll get a fixed-price quote for a like-for-like replacement or an upgrade, and you decide what makes sense for your home and budget.
Which Sydney suburbs do you cover?
More than 217 suburbs across Greater Sydney, including the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Sutherland Shire and Western Sydney, plus Wollongong and the Central Coast. Not sure about yours? Call us with your suburb.
One call. A door that works again.
Tell us what your door is doing and we’ll take it from there: a technician on the phone, a stocked van, a written fixed price and a door tested before we leave. The same family Sydney has trusted since 2009.
