How much does a garage door repair cost?
It depends on the fault, the door and access. As a guide, most spring replacements are $250–$450, most motor repairs are $180–$350 and cable repairs start from $150. You always get a written fixed price on site before any work starts.
Do you service all garage door brands?
We work on all the common brands, including B&D, Merlin, ATA, Chamberlain, Steel-Line, Gliderol and Centurion. If yours is something else, send us a photo and we will tell you straight away.
What does your warranty cover?
Every repair and installation comes with a 1-Year Labour Warranty in writing. If our work fails in that time, we come back and make it right. Parts also carry their manufacturer’s warranty.
Should I repair or replace my garage door?
As a rule of thumb, if the repair is well under half the cost of a new door, repair usually makes sense. If the door is old, has structural panel damage or needs a new opener and springs at the same time, replacement is often the better long-term spend. We give honest advice either way.
How often should my garage door be serviced?
Once a year is a good rule. A service covers lubrication, spring tension, cables, rollers, fixings and the safety sensors, and catches small problems before they turn into breakdowns.
Do you offer same-day service?
Often, yes. It depends on your suburb and how booked the team is. Doors that are stuck open or unsafe get priority, so call us first.
What is the difference between sectional and roller doors?
Sectional doors are horizontal panels that lift up and slide back under the ceiling. Roller doors are a single curtain that rolls up above the opening. We repair, service and install both.
Can you fit a new opener to my existing door?
Yes, if the door itself is in good condition. We supply and install openers from the major brands, including smart and Wi-Fi models.
Do you cover Wollongong, the Central Coast and the Blue Mountains?
